In 1950, Les Enseignes F.X. Boisvert, was well established on Gervais Street,
in its founder's backyard, Mr. François-Xavier Boisvert. At that time, Mr. Boisvert performed lettering
for Crèmerie des Trois-Rivières trucks, using an old method known as "brush and paint".
Later on, Mr. Serge Bellerive, his son in-law, joined him and learned how to perform lettering.
In 1970, he took over from Mr. Boisvert and founded his own company adjacent to his house.
In 1986, Mr. Bellerive moved his prosperous operations to a more suitable site, on McDougall Street.
Unfortunately, in 1994, a fire reduced to ashes the fruits of many years of work.
Despite this misfortune, the company got back on its feet the following day, and a few months later,
a new building was being built to satisfy its clientele.
